Vic: Laxon could know today when she can go home
MELBOURNE, Dec 30 AAP - Melbourne Cup winning trainer Sheila Laxon could know todaywhen she can go home from hospital.
Laxon suffered broken bones in her back, six broken ribs, severe hip injuries and alacerated liver after she was thrown from a horse during track work at at Macedon Lodgein Victoria a week ago.
Laxon said over the weekend she was lucky to be alive, but was recovering well.
The three-year-old filly Acclaim which threw her finished unplaced at Kilmore yesterday.
