Vic: Conditions on Victoria's ski fields today
MELBOURNE, Aug 28 AAP - Conditions on Victoria's ski fields today:
FALLS CREEK - Lifts: 15/15. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of
softening snow. Overnight temp: 1.8 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 186cm.
MT HOTHAM - Lifts: 13/13. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of soft
snow. Overnight temp: 0.4 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 191cm.
MT BULLER - Lifts: 25/25. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of packed
snow, softening during the day. Overnight temp: minus 0.2 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow
depth: 156cm.
LAKE MOUNTAIN - Very good cross country skiing on a good cover of soft snow on the
upper trails, good skiing on the lower trails on a fair cover of softening snow. Overnight
temp: 1.8 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 25cm.
MT BAW BAW - Lifts: 7/7. Good skiing and boarding on a very good cover of softening
snow. Overnight temp: 3 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 42cm.
MT BUFFALO - Lifts: 3/4. Very good to excellent skiing and boarding on a very good
to excellent cover of firm, packed snow, softening during the day. Overnight temp: 3.3
deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 68cm.
DINNER PLAIN - Lifts: 1/1. Very good downhill skiing on an excellent cover of firm
snow, softening later. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 65cm.
MT STIRLING - Very good cross country skiing on a very good to excellent cover of snow
on the upper trails, good skiing on a good cover of softening snow on the lower trails.
Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 68cm.
MT ST GWINEAR - Good to very good cross country skiing on a good to very good cover
of softening snow. Snow depth: 50cm. Road: Open and clear.
MT DONNA BUANG - No snow.
