Salient Federal Solutions Participates in World IPv6 Day

Salient Federal Solutions, a provider of Federal IT and engineering solutions, participated in World IPv6 Day to draw attention to the need to transition government networks to Internet Protocol version 6.
According to a release, during the event, Salient released free web-training videos to highlight the real security issues and risks associated with the transition.
"At Salient this is not a one-day event. We have been helping Defense and Intelligence agencies prepare for a secure and smooth transition to IPv6 for several years," said Salient's cyber security leader Lisa Donnan. "This series of web videos, coinciding with World IPv6 Day, will help spur agencies into action and give them a roadmap forward to a secure future."
The training videos Real World IPv6 Attacks and Securing Networks Against IPv6 Attacks explore existing and future threats.
